Sports Physical Therapy in Cumming, GA

Your Comeback Starts Here

You're not here to be told to rest and hope for the best. At OMNI, one-on-one sessions with expert DPTs get to the root of your pain and build a clear plan that gets you back to training.

Pain That Won't Go Away Is Costing You More Than Workouts

Generic Treatment That Doesn't Match Your Goals

High-volume clinics treat everyone the same way. Without one-on-one care built around your sport, you're not getting a plan, you're getting a protocol.

The Root Cause Goes Unaddressed and the Pain Keeps Returning

Rest and generic stretching patches the symptom but misses the problem. Without identifying the root cause, the same injury will keep coming back.

You're Being Told to Stop the Activities That Define You

Stopping training entirely isn't always the answer. You need a smarter approach that keeps you moving while actually fixing what's wrong.

Common Conditions We Treat

Pain Points and Conditions We Address

From runner's knee and Achilles pain to shoulder impingement and low back issues, our DPTs identify the root cause and build a plan that addresses the whole picture.

Runner's Knee & IT Band Syndrome - Knee and lateral hip pain keeping you off the trail or out of training.

Plantar Fasciitis & Achilles Tendinopathy - Foot and ankle pain limiting your mileage and daily activity.

Low Back Pain & Sciatica - Back pain affecting your lifts, runs, or everyday movement patterns.

Shoulder Pain & Impingement - Shoulder issues limiting your pressing, pulling, or overhead movements.

Hip Pain & Hip Impingement (FAI) - Deep hip pain or pinching that limits squats, lunges, and depth movements.

Knee Pain & Meniscus Issues - Knee pain during loaded movements, running, or changes of direction.

Ankle Sprains & Shin Splints - Lower leg and ankle issues that interrupt training and mileage goals.

Overuse Injuries & Tendinopathy - Recurring tendon pain driven by high training volume without adequate recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What runners and CrossFitters in Cumming ask before starting physical therapy at OMNI.

Do I need a referral to start physical therapy in Georgia?

Georgia allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can schedule your evaluation without seeing a doctor first. If you'd like your care coordinated with other providers, we're happy to facilitate that communication on your behalf.

Will I have to stop running or training while I'm in PT?

Not usually. Keeping you active through the rehab process is a core part of how we work. We'll adjust your training load, modify movements when needed, and build a plan that lets you keep progressing while we address the underlying problem.

How long are sessions, and how often will I need to come in?

Every session is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one with your DPT, no aides, no shared time. Most people start with one to two visits per week and adjust based on progress and goals. We schedule around your training, not the other way around.

Do you accept insurance?

We're a cash-based clinic and do not accept insurance. This model allows us to give you a full hour of focused, one-on-one care without being governed by insurance codes or visit limits. Superbills may be available for potential out-of-network reimbursement, confirm with the clinic. HSA/FSA eligible.

What makes OMNI different from other PT clinics in Cumming?

Every session is one-on-one with a licensed DPT from start to finish. Dr. Bailey holds an OCS, a board certification earned by fewer than 10% of physical therapists and both providers are certified in dry needling. We pair clinical expertise with real exercise science backgrounds to build care that fits your sport and your life.
