What Cumming Athletes Are Saying

Real results from athletes who refused to sit it out.

I’ve struggled with knee pain for almost two years, after playing tennis daily. After seeing multiple doctors and physical therapists, I was starting to think I’d never find relief—until I found Jon at Omni Sport Performance. Jon met with me every week, designed personalized workouts I could do from my home gym, and always responded quickly, following up several times a week. Thanks to his workouts and six weeks of consistent effort, my knee pain is finally gone. I highly recommend Omni Sport Performance to anyone dealing with similar issues!

My appointment with John was amazing! He is thorough, listens, and takes time to explain everything in detail. I left feeling confident with his recommendations and already feeling better!

After starting crossfit 6 months ago some of my older athlete injuries from years ago along with a chronic achilles pain I've had for a year started to flare up again I wanted to give a new approach a try! Working with Stephen I was able to learn how to push myself without getting injured, learning how to have rest/active rest days, and after a few dry needling & pt sessions my achilles feels like it's finally getting better. Can't wait to continue the exercises and see further improvement, thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before getting started at OMNI in Cumming.

Do I need a referral to start PT in Georgia?

Georgia allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can schedule your free discovery call and evaluation without a physician referral. If you'd like documentation of your plan shared with other providers, we're happy to coordinate with your care team.

How long are sessions, and how often will I need to come in?

Every session is a full 60 minutes, one-on-one with your physical therapist — no aides, no shared sessions. Most clients start with one to two visits per week and adjust based on progress and goals. We work around your training schedule, not the other way around.

Will I have to stop running or training while I'm in PT?

Usually not. We believe smart, modified training is often part of the recovery process. We work with your schedule and adjust loads or movements when needed, but the goal is to keep you moving and building confidence throughout your care.

Do you accept insurance?

We're a cash-based clinic and do not accept insurance. This model allows us to give you a full hour of one-on-one attention each session and build a plan around your goals — not insurance codes. Superbills may be available for potential out-of-network reimbursement — confirm with the clinic.

What makes OMNI different from other PT clinics in Cumming?

Every session is one-on-one with a licensed DPT. Dr. Bailey holds an OCS — a board certification earned by fewer than 10% of PTs — and both providers are certified in dry needling. We pair clinical expertise with a deep understanding of athletic training so your rehab is built around your sport, not just your symptoms.
